Oven Roasted Pumpkin Puree

Sure, you could use the canned stuff but homemade pumpkin puree is simply delicious!
  • 1 pumpkin
  1. Halve or quarter a pumpkin, remove the seeds and place cut side down on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the size of pumpkin or until pumpkin is soft to the touch when the skin is pressed.
  3. Scoop out flesh and mash or puree in a food processor.
