Regarding self destructive behavior….

Okay, I know this seems counter intuitive, but this holds a lot of truth. If you’re going to do something not so healthy, (smoking, for example) then at least enjoy it.  If you’re going to eat that pint of ice cream while sitting on the couch (isn’t it always on the couch?), then commit to the experience and really feel good about it. You do yourself a disservice by feeling guilty after you do something “bad”.
