One question that comes up when you start to eat clean is, “What exactly can I eat?” With all the information out there it can get super confusing. Honestly, it’s easy to get overwhelmed considering the variety of choices, especially when it comes to gluten free and paleo.

When eating clean, it’s important to point out that eating clean does not mean a low fat or low carb diet. It doesn’t (necessarily) mean gluten free or paleo either. Eating clean, simply put, means eating food that had a mother and/or that came from nature. It means eating foods that have been minimally processed. Vegetables, fruit, whole wheat grains and lean protein make up a clean eating diet. Pretty simple, right?
