Clean Eating Tools: A Food Diary (Part 5)

The importance of keeping a food log cannot be overstated, especially if you are trying to lose weight. So many people have experienced success by doing this one simple thing.

I’ve talked to numerous people who tried desperately to lose weight and were unsuccessful. As soon as they started keeping a food diary and began working with a nutritional coach, they were able to learn how to eat correctly. There is nothing as important as your health. Keeping a food diary is an important first step in staying healthy for the rest of your life.

So who is going to be looking at your food diary? Simply keeping a log for a week and then reviewing it on your own may not be enough. This is where having a nutritional coach can be very helpful. They are invaluable in assessing your food diary and making recommendations based on what you are eating. A nutritional coach like myself can assist you in making adjustments in your current eating habits and also help you introduce new healthy eating habits. Nutritional coaches don’t just tell you what not to eat, they can assist you in learning how to eat healthfully…for the rest of your life. And it doesn’t mean that you’ll have to eat chicken and celery sticks every day for the rest of your life! I can teach you how to cook foods that are healthy, nutritious and delicious too!
