hersheys

Now that’s what I call good news!  Hershey’s, under mounting pressure on social media and from advocacy groups, has announced that it will swap genetically modified sugar beet for cane sugar. They are also switching to non-genetically modified soy lecithin for specific products by the end of the year. Artificial vanillin and emulsified polyglycerol polyricinoleate  (used as a replacement for expensive cocoa butter) will also be dropped.

As of this writing, this change only included some of Hershey’s products, including Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolates and Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars. You  can read more about it here.
