Sesame Lemon Broccoli

This is a nice alternative to plain old steamed broccoli.
  • 1½ Tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 bunch broccoli, cut into florets (4 cups)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  1. Roast sesame seeds in a small nonstick skillet over medium heat until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
  2. Place broccoli in saucepan with ½ inch water and bring to a boil. Immediately cover with lid and set timer for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and drain. Sprinkle with lemon juice, salt and roasted sesame seeds and serve.
