This is the best barbeque sauce I've ever had! Seriously. And it is so much better and healthier than any pre made bottled sauce. You will be so happy you made this. Perfect on chicken!
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup tomato paste
  • 3 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan whisk together ½ cup water, tomato paste, vinegar, maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion powder, salt and pepper flakes.
  2. Bring sauce to a boil on medium high and continue boiling for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in oil.
  3. Makes about ½ cup.
