The number one rule of eating clean is to EAT REAL FOOD. I think we can make this whole healthy eating thing way too complicated sometimes. All we really need to do is to eat primarily foods that come from nature.
So what does this look like? Focusing on eating vegetables, fruit, nuts, whole grains, seeds, nuts and lean protein is really what it means to eat clean. It’s also important to cut out (or at least minimize) the amount of processed foods you consume. This means that eating foods made in a factory (anything that comes in a box or a bag) are foods you want to avoid for the most part.
